Run for Nature

Event Overview

Run for Nature is an exciting event scheduled for Sunday, September 28, 2025, taking place at Shedd Park in Lowell, MA. Participants can choose from three different distances: a 10K Run, a 5K Run/Walk, and a Kids 1-Mile Fun Run.

Schedule

• Registration closes: Thu, Sep 25 @ 11:59PM ET
• Bib pick-up: 9:00 AM - 10:15 AM
• Kids 1-Mile Fun Run starts at 9:30 AM
• 5K Run/Walk or 10K Run starts at 10:30 AM

Event Features

The event will be held rain or shine! Expect educational displays, children’s activities, and live animals at the event, plus light refreshments available for participants.

Course Description

The courses will encompass a mix of double- and single-track trails through Shedd Park and Rogers Fort Hill Park, with minimal roads connecting the trails. The 10K participants will complete the loop twice.

Registration Fees

• 10K Adult: $40.00 (after Jun 30: $45.00)
• 10K Student: $35.00 (after Jun 30: $40.00)
• 5K Adult: $35.00 (after Jun 30: $40.00)
• 5K Student: $30.00 (after Jun 30: $35.00)
• Kids 1-Mile Fun Run (12 and under): $7.00 (after Jun 30: $8.00)

Parking

Parking is available at Shedd Park Pavilion and along Knapp Avenue.
