Run For Us 5K - Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival

RUN FOR US is the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival Annual 5K Run-Walk for Health & Wellness presented by Publix. This event takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 8 AM at Al Lopez Park.

Note: T-shirt sizes may vary and sell out quickly. There is no guarantee a participant will receive a t-shirt or their desired size after 1/15/2026.

Registration Fees:

• Kids Under 12: FREE (Must be accompanied by a registered adult. Shirts are NOT available for free registrants.)
• Kids Ages 12-17: $23.99 (Includes participant shirt, race bib, and finisher's medal. Shirt sizes not guaranteed after January 15th, 2026.)
• Standard 5K Registration: $40.49 (Includes participant shirt, race bib, and finisher's medal. Shirt sizes not guaranteed after January 15th, 2026.)
• Virtual 5K: $40.49 (Includes participant shirt, finisher's medal, and souvenir race bib. Packets mailed Feb 5th-9th. Upload time by Feb 14th, 2026.)
• 5K - NO SHIRT Option: $34.99
• Add-on Shirt: $7.49

Packet Pickup:

• Pre-Race: Thursday, February 5th, 3 PM - 7 PM at Fit2Run, International Plaza & Bay Street.
• Race Day: Saturday, February 7th, 7 AM - 7:55 AM.

Event Details:

• Professionally timed 3.1 mile run/walk.
• Strollers and dogs on leashes are permitted. Please start at the back.
• Finisher's medals awarded upon crossing the finish line.
• Race results will be available via QR code on bib and email.

Safety & Weather:

Participant safety is the top priority. Listen to announcements and keep headphones at low volume. In case of severe weather, the race may be canceled. Registrations canceled due to weather will not be refunded but used as a charitable donation.

• Sat, Feb 7, 2026: 7:00 AM - Race Day Packet Pickup (Ends 7:55 AM)
• Sat, Feb 7, 2026: 7:45 AM - Pre Race Warm Up
