Run for Women

Join us for a 3.1-mile 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. at Penn State Behrend's Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Center (AMIC). Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a beginner, this event is a supportive and empowering experience for women of all ages and abilities. Enjoy post-race refreshments and celebrate your accomplishment!

Event Details:

• Date: Sunday, August 24, 2025
• Time: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. EDT
• Location: Penn State Behrend’s Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Center (AMIC), 5350 Technology Drive, Erie, PA
• Registration: Register online at behrend.psu.edu/wec. Day-of-race registration available from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at AMIC.
• Cost: $20 (includes t-shirt), $10 (students, includes t-shirt), $5 discount if you don't want a shirt.
• Awards: Top three women overall, top master, and top three in various age groups.

Course: The 3.1-mile course starts and finishes at AMIC, looping through Knowledge Park on closed roads.

Race Proceeds: Proceeds support Behrend students and programming that promotes women and allies of women.
