Run for Your Life 5K

Join us for the 13th Annual Run For Your Life 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in historic Downtown Tarboro! Lace up your running shoes—or walking shoes!—for a morning full of community spirit, celebration, and purpose. This event is the signature fundraiser for the Edgecombe Cancer Support Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing financial assistance to Edgecombe County residents undergoing cancer treatment. 100% of race proceeds go directly to local cancer patients. Administered by a team of passionate volunteers, these funds help ease the burden on our neighbors so they can focus on healing. Every step you take helps someone in our county fight their battle with cancer. Whether you're running for a loved one, walking for hope, or cheering from the sidelines, you're making a difference. Let’s come together, have fun, and support our fighters—because no one in Edgecombe County should face cancer alone.
