Run the Boards

The Run the Boards is a 4-mile running race taking place in Long Beach, NY on Thursday, August 14, 2025. The race starts at 7:00 PM EDT. Registration ends August 14, 2025 at 5:00 PM EDT. The cost is $15 and includes a race entry and pizza at the after-party at Bright Eye Beer Company. This is a non-sanctioned race, so runners should be mindful of traffic.

Race Schedule:

• 6:45 PM - Check-in opens
• 7:00 PM - Pre-race huddle (attendance required)
• 7:05 PM - Men's start
• 7:10 PM - Women's start

Awards: 1st-3rd place male & female. Winners receive a free flight of beer from Bright Eye Beer Company; 2nd and 3rd place receive prizes.

Route:

• Run down National Blvd (against traffic) on the east side of the street.
• Take the eastern ramp to the boardwalk.
• Run west on the boardwalk to the end, down the ramp, and make the first left onto Ocean View Ave.
• Run Ocean View Ave to the end and touch the blue wall at Connecticut.
• Turn around and run Ocean View Ave (becomes West Broadway) back.
• Run the bike path on West Broadway Ave (no boardwalk).
• Turn left on National Blvd and cross the finish line (same as the starting line).
