About the Event
Run the Line Half Marathon
The Run the Line Half Marathon is a unique opportunity to run a half marathon in both Texas and Arkansas on a USATF certified single-loop course. The race starts at W. Broad Street and Texas Blvd in downtown Texarkana, Texas, quickly moves into Arkansas, crosses back into Texas, and finishes in Texarkana, Arkansas. The course includes 10-ft wide asphalt trails and city streets. The finish line is downtown at 3rd and Wood Streets in front of the Hopkins Ice House.
Race includes: chip timing, runners, walkers, and 2-person and 4-person relay teams.
Course details: The course map is posted on this site. Water stops, restrooms, and relay point locations are also on the course map to assist relay teams. The course has several long inclines.
Registration: Registration is online only at www.naturalstateruns.com. Late fees apply after certain dates.
Packet Pickup: Friday, February 13, 4:00-6:00pm and Saturday, February 14, 9:00am-4:00pm at Racquet & Jog, 3435 Richmond Road, Texarkana, TX.
Race Day Packet Pick-Up: 6:15am-7:10am at the Bi-State Justice Building.
Awards: Awards will be given for the top three places for female and male runners in various age groups, as well as for 2-person and 4-person relay teams.
