Run Wild 5K & Kids run- 2026

Join us Saturday July 4, 2026, 7:30am. This event is hosted by Runner's High Club and benefits Special Olympics Texas & Girls on the Run Greater Houston.

The 5K Run/Walk starts at 7:30am. The Kids Run (~0.6 mile) for ages 12 and under starts at 7:10am. All kids receive a medal, tank, sunglasses, socks, custom bib, and a superhero cape and mask.

Features include a custom bib, finisher medal, sunglasses, chip timing, tech tank (male/female cut), running socks, free finish video, and Magnolia Brewing Co. beer. Snacks, water, and soft drinks are provided.

Packet Pickup and Registration: 6590 Woodway Dr, Houston, TX 77057. Thursday July 2 (3pm-7pm), Friday July 3 (10am-3pm), Race day (6am-7am).

Awards: Overall Male & Female winners, Overall Master Male & Female winners, top 3 Male & Female in 5-year age groups. Kids receive a finisher medal.

Parking: FREE parking at Uptown Park Plaza.

Note: No pets, baby strollers, or wheeled vehicles for the 5K run/walk. Strollers are okay in the Kids run only. Tank sizes are not guaranteed if ordered less than 7 weeks before the race.
