Run/Walk for the Greenway 5K & Fun Run

Location: 1825 West Park Road, Salisbury, NC 28144 US

Events:

• 5K Run/Walk: $25 (price increases after July 18, 2025 at 11:59pm EDT)
• Kids Fun Run: $10 (registration ends July 19, 2025 at 8:45am EDT)

Start Times:

• 5K: 8:00AM EDT
• Fun Run: 8:45AM EDT

Description: The 28th Annual Run/Walk for the Greenway 5K & Half-Mile Fun Run. Mostly flat, record-breaking scenic course! Race bags and door prizes!

Course Details:

• Half Mile Fun Run: Out and back on the greenway.
• 5K Course: Starts at Overton (approx. 1900 West Park Drive), follows a detailed route (see course map).

Awards:

• Top three overall male and female in 5K (Overall winners not eligible for Age Group Awards)
• Top three in each age group (male and female) in 5K
• Top three overall in Fun Run; medals to all others (ages 8 & under only)

Age Groups: 9/Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70/Over

Shirts: Dry-fit T-shirts for 5K participants, cotton T-shirts for Fun Run participants.

Donations: Bring canned goods or old running shoes to donate to Rowan Helping Ministries.
