Safe Futures Safe Walk 2025

Join us on Sunday, October 5th, 2025 at Waterford Duck Pond Park for Safe Futures Safe Walk during National Domestic Violence Awareness Month! Safe Walk 2025 will feature a craft fair with local vendors, exciting raffle baskets for all ages, and breakfast food trucks. Join together with your family and friends to create a team and walk with us in honor of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Adult Registration: $25
Children & Students: Free*
*Children and students under 18 are welcome to attend without registering online

Same day registration and craft fair begins at 8:00am. Walk begins at 9:00am. We look forward to seeing you there!

PARKING INFORMATION

Parking for all attendees will be available at the Waterford Community Center, Town Hall, High School and parking lot to the entrance of the playground off of Boston Post Road in Waterford, CT. There will be no parking available at the Waterford Public Library, as it will be used as a drop-off for the craft fair vendors and volunteers only. Registration and check-in tables will be located directly across from the Community Center at Rope Ferry Road, at the end of the walkway leading down from the children’s playground, and in the library parking lot. The starting line for the Walk will be recognizable by the purple balloon arch over at the library. Waterford Police Officers will be on site to help pedestrians cross safely.
