About the Event
Event Details
Run, walk, or stroll through the City of Newburgh in Safe Harbors’ annual charity 5K! With a course that features the incredible architecture of Newburgh’s historic district and stunning Hudson River views, this community-centered race is fun for runners and non-runners of all ages.
The Run for the Green 5K will benefit Safe Harbors Green, a vibrant park at the corner of Broadway and Liberty that hosts a variety of community events. Join us and enjoy refreshments, a complimentary t-shirt, and a fun-filled morning for a good cause!
Registration
Adults (18+): $35 in advance, $45 on the day. K-12 Students: Free!
Event Schedule
This event is Rain or Shine.
- 7:30-8:30 AM: Registration – Safe Harbors Lobby at the Ritz, 107 Broadway, Newburgh, NY
- 9:00 AM: Race Start
- 11:00 AM: Awards Ceremony – Safe Harbors Green Outdoor Stage, Broadway and Liberty Street, Newburgh
Awards & Age Divisions
Participants will be chip-timed, and top performers will be recognized in various divisions, including Overall and Age Groups.
