About the Event
Event Details
The Saguaro Showdown takes place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Usery Mountain Regional Park in Mesa, AZ. Races start at 8:00 AM and continue every hour thereafter. Join us for laps where Runners will tackle a 4.1667 mile loop and Ruckers will take on a 2.3 mile loop.
Race Format
This is a last-person-standing race where only one Runner and one Rucker will emerge victorious. Each participant must complete their loop within one hour to stay in the race. At designated times, new races will start and runners must be in the corral when the next race begins.
Special Rules
If no one completes the race, all participants who reach 24 hours are tied for first place. Fundraising options are also available for participants who wish to waive their registration fee by raising funds.
