Start and Finish on St. John's Road Campus Field, Pembroke BM

Join us for the annual Saltus Run/Walk organized by the Saltus Association. Bring your family and friends for a fun-filled afternoon at the Saltus 5K, 1 Mile, or - perfect for younger children - one or two laps around the field, each lap approximately 400m. RETURNING this year is the Toddler Trot, a 40m dash for the littlest participants (18-35 months). NEW! for this year is the 800m (7-10yo). After the race, enjoy a bouncy castle, a fundraising bake sale and 50/50 raffle. Be sure to bring cash if you'd like to participate in the raffle or buy a range of snacks and baked goods!

All races start and finish on the sports field at the Saltus St John’s Road campus.

Saltus students will earn house points for participating - as runners or volunteers - and the house with the most points will win a grub day! Non-Saltus students and families are encouraged to participate as well!

ORDER OF EVENTS

• Toddler Trot (40m) for children aged 18 to 35 months (One non-competitive race for Fun and Participation)
• 400m (1 LAP OF FIELD) Events age awards 3-4 and 5-6 (Separate races for boys and girls)
• 800m (2 LAPS OF FIELD) Events age awards 7-8 and 9-10 (Separate races for boys and girls)
• 1 Mile Event age awards 11-13, 14-16, 17+ (One race. Minimum age 7. 9 years and under must be accompanied by an adult)
• 5K Events (One race) Competitive 5K Event age awards 10-13, 14-16, 17+ (Minimum age 10 for competitive event)
• 5K Non-Competitive 5K Event (No age minimum, however children 10 years and under must be accompanied by an adult)

PRICES

• Toddler Trot (18-35 months): $5 ($10 after November 9)
• Kids 400m, 800m, 1 Mile and 5K: $15 ($20 after November 9)
• Adults 1 Mile and 5K: $25. ($30 after November 9)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• FREE registration for Saltus teachers & admin staff!
• STROLLERS are only allowed in the non-competitive walk; please start near the back to avoid interference.
• DOGS are NOT allowed at the Start/Finish area for the safety of participants.
• NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION.
• Valid overseas credit card is required for payment.

PARKING, NUMBER PICKUP AND ENTRY DEADLINE

• Number pick-up: Saturday, November 22 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Alumni Hall.
• Entry deadline: Online registration is open through Sunday at Noon.
