The lottery for the 2025 race is now open! Registration will close on January 31, 2025, at 6:59 AM MT. Results of the lottery will be announced on February 1, 2025.
Capacity: 300 runners. The waitlist reached 180 last year. Runners are not charged until they confirm their spot.
Live tracking will be provided by MAProgress, and all runners must carry a registered tracker.
About the Event
The San Juan Solstice 50 was first held in 1995 and has since evolved into a renowned ultra marathon. The course navigates challenging terrain and high alpine conditions, with varying weather each year.
Prerequisites
- Participants must be 18 years or older.
- A completed prior trail ultra run is required.
- Experience in high mountain conditions is essential.
