Description: The Word "Sangamam" ("சங்கமம்") in the Tamil Language means, Confluence or assembly or junction or in simple terms, Join together in one place. This event brings the community together and supports local non-profits. Part of the proceeds will be donated to local non-profits that have local programs to Overcome Poverty and/or provide food supplies for the needy. We also intend to donate Tamil Language literature books to Bloomington Public Library.
Events:

• SANGAMAM 5K Run: 7:30 AM CDT. $20, $15 (Ages 1-15). Price increases after July 4, 2025 at 11:59 PM CDT
• SANGAMAM 2K Family Fun Water Gun Run/Walk: 7:30 AM CDT. $20, $15 (Ages 4-15), Free (Ages 1-3, 60-100). Price increases after July 4, 2025 at 11:59 PM CDT

• The 5K Run will be on the paved Tipton Trail and/or Constitution Trail. Water stations will be available.
• Strollers and walkers are welcome, but please no headphones.
• Toy Water Guns will be provided to registered kids below 15 years.
• The course will be open to traffic.
• Post-race kids' fun games are planned.
• Race Shirt is guaranteed to all registered participants who are pre-registered by July 10th.
• Packet Pickup and race day registration start at 6:30 AM at the Tipton Trail (South Shelter).

• 5K: Top overall male and female. Age bracket awards: 15 & under, 15-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 60&Up
• 2K: Individual category 3&under, 4-6, 7-9, 10-15
