Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon

Welcome to the Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon! This exciting event is designed for children aged 6 to 15 years, providing a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to participate in a triathlon.

Event Details

The TRYathlon will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Ngamotu Beach Reserve in New Plymouth. Participants can choose between individual entries or team entries, making it a great way to encourage teamwork and sportsmanship.

Distances

Distances vary by age group, ensuring that every child can participate at a level that suits them:

• 6 year olds: 50m swim / 1.5km run
• 7 year olds: 50m swim / 4km cycle / 1.5km run
• 8 – 10 year olds: 75 – 100m swim / 4km cycle / 1.5km run
• 11 – 15 year olds: 150 – 200m swim / 8km cycle / 1.5km run

Fundraising Opportunity

Participants can also take part in the TRY IT ON fundraising programme, which allows them to raise funds for the Weet-Bix TRYathlon Foundation, helping less fortunate kids in their community to participate in this event.
