Santa Scramble 5K

The Santa Scramble 5K presented by Leigh Brown & Associates and One Community Real Estate will run its original route: Church Street, Buffalo Avenue, Union Street, Corban Avenue, McEachern, finishing on the greenway at McGee Park. This very fast race is set to run before the Concord Christmas Parade. The race starts between 2:00 pm and 2:15 pm (subject to change) and is a destination race, starting at one location and finishing at another.

Registration: All registrations are $17 through September 2, 2025. The price increases on September 3, 2025, but age-based pricing ($17) begins then for ages 17 and under and 65 and older.

School and Team Awards: The school and team with the most registrations win $1000.

Start Line: Between the former 5/3 Bank and Wells Fargo Bank on Church Street, near Lake Concord Rd (885 Church St. N., Concord). No parking available; shuttle from Concord High School recommended.

Finish Line: J.W. (Mickey) McGee Park on the greenway at the first shelter (219 Corban Ave SE, Concord, NC 28025). No parking available at McGee Park.

Parking and Shuttles: Shuttles run from Concord High School (481 Burrage Road NE, Concord, NC 28025) from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. After the race, shuttles return runners to Concord High School from McGee Park.

• Early Packet Pickup: David W. Phillips Activity Center (946 Burrage Road NE, Concord, NC 28025) - Thursday, November 21, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm; Friday, November 21, 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
• Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup: Concord High School Auxiliary Gym (481 Burrage Rd NE, Concord NC) - Saturday, November 22, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Awards: Top 3 overall male and female; first overall masters and grand masters male and female; age group awards 3 deep in all age groups.
