Seattle Kraken 5K

Event Information

The Seattle Kraken 5K presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) will take place Saturday, October 4th at Green Lake Park in Seattle. Proceeds from the event benefit the Kraken Hockey Fights Cancer Fund. This 5K fun run/walk will help kick off the start of the 2025 –2026 Seattle Kraken Season.

Participants will enjoy a unique Seattle Kraken race event designed for everyone to enjoy, whether you run or walk. Everett Fitzhugh will host the festivities featuring members of the broadcast team, Buoy, and other special guests.

Schedule

• Pre-Race Packet Pickup October 2: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Kraken Community Iceplex
• Pre-Race Packet Pickup October 3: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM at Kraken Community Iceplex
• Race Day October 4:
• 8:00 AM - Registration opens
• 9:00 AM - Kids Dash starts
• 9:30 AM - 5K start - Wave 1
• 10:00 AM - 5K start - Walkers
• 10:30 AM - Awards

Virtual Participation

Sign up for the virtual event to join from your neighborhood. Virtual packets will include a race bib, event shirt, and finisher's medal mailed to your home.
