Shannon Trail Series

Overview

The Shannon Trail Series is hosted by the San Angelo Road Lizards, consisting of three races total, held at Middle Concho Park and San Angelo State Park. Each race offers multiple distance options, including 5K, 10K, 12K, and 15K, allowing runners of all levels to participate.

Event Dates

• Race 1: January 17, 2026 - 5K or 10K at Middle Concho Park
• Race 2: January 31, 2026 - 5K or 12K at San Angelo State Park, Chaparral Pavilion
• Race 3: February 21, 2026 - 5K or 15K at San Angelo State Park, Burkett Trailhead

Courses

Multiple course options are available:

• Trail Series - Long Course - All Three Races (Price: $40.00 - $50.00)
• Trail Series - Short Course - All Three Races (Price: $40.00 - $50.00)
• Race 1 - 5K (Price: $30.00)
• Race 1 - 10K (Price: $30.00)
• Race 2 - 5K (Price: $30.00)
• Race 2 - 12K (Price: $30.00)
• Race 3 - 5K (Price: $30.00)
• Race 3 - 15K (Price: $30.00)

The event will take place at 362 S. FM 2288, San Angelo, TX 76901, USA.

Awards

All races are chip-timed. Finisher medals and overall awards will be distributed based on gun time, and top three male/female in various age groups will receive awards after completing the series.
