Description: The 18th Annual Shark Run 5K, sponsored by the Bay Head Home & School Association, is their largest fundraiser. Proceeds support extracurricular activities, classroom enhancements, and school programs.

Events:

• Shark Run 5K/Kids Shark Color Fun Run: $35 (until Sept 30), $40 (after); 7:00 AM - 9:30 AM EDT. Open to ages 100 and under.
• Kids Shark Color Fun Run: $25; 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM EDT. Open to ages 12 and under.

Entry Fee Includes: 5K run, t-shirt (not guaranteed for late registration), race bag.

Event Schedule:
7:00 AM-8:00 AM: Race day registration
8:00 AM: Star Spangled Banner
8:10 AM: Runners escorted to starting line
8:30 AM: Run/Walk START
9:30 AM: Awards
10:00 AM: Kids race begins

Course: Runners will be escorted from the Bay Head firehouse (81 Bridge Avenue) at 8:10 AM to the starting line (East Avenue and Karge Street). The course heads south on East Avenue, then right on Lyman Street, crossing Route 35, right onto Barnegat Lane (becomes Clayton Avenue, then Lake Avenue), left onto Bridge Avenue, and finishes in the Municipal Parking lot.
