Snake River Canyon Half Marathon

Event Overview

The Snake River Canyon Half Marathon is scheduled for March 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Organized by the Palouse Road Runners, this race marks the first major running event of the season in the Quad Cities area.

Course Details

Starting and finishing at Wawawai Landing, the course follows the Wawawai River Road on an out-and-back format with scenic views. The elevation at the start is around 720 feet. Runners can expect warm temperatures near 50°F at the finish line. There will be mile markers, water stations every 2 miles, and restrooms at all water stations.

Registration and Policies

Registration opens on November 1, 2024. The entry fee for the half marathon is $50.31 (with a price increase to $60.93 after December 31). Note that bib swapping is prohibited for liability and safety reasons, and no refunds or deferrals will be issued. In the event of a cancellation, a virtual race option will be available.
