About the Event
SOAR 5K Event Details
Join us for the first annual SOAR 5K Run and Walk hosted by the Welchester Elementary School PTA! This event includes a 5K run, 5K walk, and a fun run for kids.
- SOAR 5K Run: A scenic double loop course around Daniels Park and the Welchester community. Suitable for runners of all ages and abilities. Distance: 3.1 miles.
- SOAR 5K Walk: Walkers will follow the same 3.1 mile course. Open to all ages and fitness levels.
- SOAR Kids Fun Run: A 1K non-competitive event for kids ages 12 and under. Registration is required, but entries are free.
The last day to guarantee your t-shirt size is Friday, April 12. Register early for the best chance at your preferred size!

- SOAR 5K Run: $20 (Early Bird) / $25 (Regular)
- SOAR 5K Walk: $20 (Early Bird) / $25 (Regular)
- SOAR Kids Fun Run: Free (for kids 12 and under)

⭐ Pets are allowed as long as they are leashed. Strollers and wagons are also welcome on the course.
