South Boston Catholic Academy Jingle Bell Run 2025

The 16th Annual South Boston Catholic Academy Road Race, also known as the Jingle Bell Run, is a South Boston tradition. This year's event includes two youth races followed by a 5 km course along scenic South Boston beaches and Castle Island. After the race, enjoy refreshments, awards, and entertainment.

Registration is open. The first 250 registrants and everyone registered by Sunday, November 30th, will receive a classic South Boston Catholic Academy Jingle Bell Run long-sleeve t-shirt.

Youth Races

• 100 Meter Dash (9 years and under): 9:00 AM EST, $15
• ½ Mile Race (14 years and under): 9:30 AM EST, $15

Youth registration for either race is $15. Youth participating in both the 100-meter dash and the 1/2 mile need only register once.

Course Details

The 5 km course is fast and flat, running along scenic Castle Island and the beaches of Day Boulevard.

Number Pick-Up

Numbers can be picked up starting at 8 AM on the day of the race. Early pick-up is available on Friday, December 12th, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at South Boston Catholic Academy.

Parking

Parking is available along adjacent streets and the beach area, within 2-3 blocks of the school. Resident parking is not in effect on Saturdays.

Awards

• 5 KM RACE: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Overall (Females & Males)
• 1/2 Mile Race: Medals to all finishers
• 100 METER DASH (9 YEARS AND UNDER): Medals to all finishers

Refunds

Race fees are considered donations to the school due to the event being a critical fundraiser. No refunds are offered.
