South Texas Ultra

Race Overview

The South Texas Ultra is a 50K, 35K, 17K, and 5K scenic trail run held on the H.W. Lewis Ranch in the Texas Hill Country. The race features a challenging terrain with over 2300 feet of elevation gain for the 50K event, following a 10.3M looped course and a unique route for the 5K, starting and ending at the ranch.

• Surface: Rugged rocky with some dirt and grass ATV trails
• Location: H.W. Lewis Ranch
• Weather: Historically averages 60-79 degrees in mid-October

Registration Details

Registration closes on Friday, Oct 3, 2025, at 11:59 PM CT. The HW Lewis Ranch charges a $10 parking fee per participant payable in cash upon entrance.

Race Schedule

• Packet Pickup: 5:00 AM to 7:15 AM
• 50K Start: 6:00 AM
• 35K & 17K Start: 7:00 AM
• 5K Start: 7:30 AM
