The Southern States 200
The Southern States 200 will be the only known Mountain TRAIL, POINT-TO-POINT, 200-mile race east of the Rockies. The run will follow the Legendary Pinhoti Trail from near Dalton, Georgia to the top of Mt Cheaha, the highest point in Alabama. Expect 27,933 feet of elevation gain over 203.14 miles. The course will be fully marked and runners will have 96 hours to complete the journey. There are 15 aid stations with 'real food' available day and night along the route.

This event includes a 200 Miler and a 100 Miler option, with generous cutoff times to ensure safety and enjoyment for all participants.
