Speed Goat Ultra

Event Overview

The Speed Goat Ultra is a unique, simultaneous dual event race held on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Participants can opt for mountain biking or running on separate courses, with various time options available.

Mountain Bike Racing

Racing begins at 7:00 AM on Saturday, May 10th. Mountain bikers will tackle an approximately 8-mile course featuring fun descents and steady climbs. Teams are encouraged to share laps and accumulate as many miles as possible within the given time. E-bikes are welcome and will have their own award category.

Running Events

Running options include:

• 24-Hour Run starts Friday, May 9 at 7:00 PM
• 12-Hour Run starts Saturday, May 10 at 7:00 AM
• 6-Hour Run starts Saturday, May 10 at 1:00 PM
• 3-Hour Run starts Saturday, May 10 at 4:00 PM

Runners will navigate a roughly 4-mile loop with gentle elevation on single track. Lights and reflective gear are required for nighttime running. An aid station will provide warm food, beverages, and hydration.

Post-Race Amenities

Participants can enjoy a free meal after the races and primitive camping at the race location, although they should prepare for no running water or electricity.
