Staten Island Triathlon/Duathlon

Event Details

The Staten Island Triathlon/Duathlon will be held at Midland Beach on Staten Island, NY. The event honors Rocco Laurie, a Vietnam veteran and NYPD officer. Last year, nearly 400 competitors participated, making it one of the biggest races of the season.

• Location: Transition area by the baseball field on Father Capodanno Blvd

Course Options

Participants can choose from several events:

• Triathlon: Swim 400 meters, Bike 12 miles, Run 3 miles
• Duathlon: Run 2 miles, Bike 12 miles, Run 3 miles
• Team Relay Triathlon
• Team Relay Duathlon
• Achilles International Triathlon: One or Two Athletes + Guide
• Achilles International Duathlon: One or Two Athletes + Guide
• Volunteer 1 for 1

Important Notes

Participants are encouraged to arrive early for check-in, and certain distances are open to athletes aged 18 and over. Volunteers are needed for the event and will receive race credits for their assistance.
