Steps to Empowerment 5K Run/Walk
This 5K run/walk takes place on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the US Oval in Plattsburgh, NY. All proceeds benefit the Sexual Assault Services Program.
Event Highlights:
- Registration/check-in: 8:00 AM EDT
- 5K start time: 9:00 AM EDT
- Color run (wearing white recommended)
- Post-race activities: community agencies, cotton candy, tie dye, lawn games, snacks
- Participants receive a t-shirt and swag bag (while supplies last)
- Prizes for top 3 finishers
- Dog-friendly event (Puppy Paws Package available)
Location: 52 US Oval, Plattsburgh, NY 12901 US
Course: Starts near the flag poles at the US Oval, continues down the Terry Gordon Bike Path, and ends back at the US Oval.
Pricing: $25 per person (before September 27th), $30 on race day. Puppy Paws Package: $5
