Strut for Childhood Cancer Race

The Strut for Childhood Cancer Race (formerly called the Cardinal Strut) takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Long Leaf Park in Wilmington, NC. Participants can choose between a 1-mile or 5K course. The race will start and finish near Picnic Shelter #5/6. This race course is stroller and wheelchair friendly. Dogs are not allowed.

Events Offered:

5K Run/Walk (timed)
1 Mile Run/Walk (untimed)

Registration: Register online before the event or at the event using a QR code.

Awards: Medals will be given to the first 100 1-Mile finishers under 12 and the first 300 5K finishers. Other awards will be given for various age groups and places.

Cause: All proceeds benefit Children's Cancer Partners of the Carolinas (CCP), supporting children battling cancer in North and South Carolina.
