Suds & Soles 5K

Suds & Soles 5K is a fun-filled evening event that will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 7:30 pm in Rockville Town Center, Rockville, MD. This event is a partnership between the Montgomery County Road Runners Club and the City of Rockville. The 5K run is open to all ages and will be followed by an amazing post-race party. Participants will have the opportunity to sample beverages from local breweries and enjoy other refreshments.

The proceeds from Suds & Soles will benefit the Rockville Recreation and Parks Foundation, Youth and Beginning Running Programs of MCRRC, and other charitable needs of the community.

The pricing for the adult registration is tiered, so it is recommended to register early to save money. The race will feature different pricing tiers based on the number of slots available. The prices range from $35 to $50, with a race day registration fee of $55 if slots are still available.

The course for Suds & Soles is a USATF certified 5K course that starts and ends in Rockville Town Center. The route will take participants through downtown Rockville and neighborhood roads before returning to Town Center. Participants who maintain a pace slower than 20 minutes per mile may be directed to the sidewalk and will be required to follow pedestrian rules.

The race will be timed and scored using the IPICO Bib Chip, which will be attached to the bib received during packet pick up registration. Results will be posted on the event's webpage and the Montgomery County Road Runners Club website approximately 24 hours after the race. Both "net" and "gun" times will be displayed.

Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in both open and masters divisions, as well as age group prizes. It is important to note that awards will not be mailed, so winners are encouraged to stay for the award ceremony.
