Description: Sun 'n Lake Improvement District is proud to host the 5K Turkey Trot for Thanksgiving, a family-friendly, fun-filled run that brings our community together for a cause. This event aims to promote healthy living while raising awareness of community wellness and fitness. The race will begin promptly at 8:00 AM, and runners of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate. Pre-registration is encouraged to guarantee a race-day T-shirt.

• Course Name: 5k Run/Walk
• Distance: 3.1 Miles
• Prices: $25.00 - $30.00 - $35.00

Schedule:

• 6:30 AM: Event opens, on-site registration and packet pick-up
• 7:45 AM: Pre-race warm-up/stretching session
• 7:55 AM: Welcome announcements and safety briefing
• 8:00 AM: Race begins
• 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM: Finish line celebrations, music, and post-race refreshments
• 9:30 AM: Awards ceremony
• 10:00 AM: Event concludes

Awards: Top 3 finishers overall and in each age group receive medals. All participants receive a finisher medal.
