Tame the Tower Trail Challenge

About the Race

The village of Mt. Gretna is known for its silent beauty and its enchanting wonder. There is a strong tradition of artistry that can be seen all throughout the streets and paved walkways of our small town. Join us for the Second Annual Tame the Tower Trail Challenge at Clarence Schock Memorial Park on Saturday, December 13th, 2025.

One hundred percent of the proceeds will go back into the park for trail maintenance, safety measures, and education center improvements.

Course Information

We will be running 2 different distances: 5 Mile and 10 Mile. The courses will be marked with colored flags: pink for ten mile runners and yellow for five mile runners.

Start times:
10 Miler: 9:00 AM
5 Miler: 9:30 AM
Both distances will start and end at the Education Center Parking at Clarence Schock Memorial Park.

Parking

Parking is available at Governor Dick Park on a first come, first serve basis. When full, racers will be redirected to Mount Gretna with van service.

Registration

Race registration and number pick up will take place at Governor Dick Park on race day from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM.

Awards

Top overall male and female winners in each distance will earn cash prizes, with additional recognitions for age group winners.

Race will proceed rain or shine. No refunds.
