Taste of Portage Half Marathon and 5K

The Taste of Portage Half Marathon and 5K will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025 in Portage, WI. This event includes a half marathon and a 5k race. The races will start and finish in downtown Portage at the Columbia County Administration Building, located at 112 Edgewater Street, Portage, WI 53901.

Events:

• Taste of Portage Half Marathon: $70, 7:15AM - 10:00AM CDT
• Taste of Portage 5K: $35, 7:30AM - 9:00AM CDT

Additional Information:
The race will take you on a beautiful run through Portage, Wisconsin, passing several community parks and the paved Levee path on the Wisconsin River. There will be cool swag, medals, and a huge downtown post-race block party/awards ceremony! The event is part of the annual Taste of Portage Market Fair, with Friday night packet pickup and live music. After the race, enjoy a downtown party with live music, kid's entertainment, a classic car show, and food and beverages. Strollers are welcome, but dogs are not allowed on the course.
