Thanksgiving 5K, Prediction 5K, & Fun Walk-2025

Event Details and Schedule

100% of race proceeds will be donated to Special Olympics, St. Mary's County.

The event starts at 9am, please arrive no later than 8:30am. Race day registration starts at 7:45am.

A timed 5K Running/Walking Race, a Prediction 5K Running/Walking race, and a Fun Walk on a flat road course through St. Mary’s City.

Race t-shirts to the first 100 paid participants. This number may be increased depending on the number of early pre-registered participants.

Participants of the Prediction 5K will be required to predict their finishing time race morning and will not be allowed to wear a watch.

Walkers participating in the 5K or Prediction 5K race will be scored along with the runners (which makes you eligible for awards!).

Strollers & babies welcomed! Well behaved dogs allowed on leashes!

5K Run/Walk Awards

• Fastest male and female.
• Top 3 males and females in the following age categories: 9-under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-over.

Prediction 5K Run/Walk Awards

• Overall male and female that finish closest to their predicted time.
• Top 3 participants that finish closest to their predicted time.

TONS OF DOOR PRIZES!!! (historically every race participant has also won a door prize)

Entry fee will increase by $5 on race morning.
