THE 2026 FROSTBITE

Half Marathon * 10K * 5K

The Frostbite Race Presented by Chick-Fil-A Starkville, which was started over 40 years ago, is a chilly annual event that draws runners from Starkville and surrounding areas. Just like last year, this year's Frostbite will begin and end on Main Street and incorporate the Cotton District, Mississippi State University campus and Starkville's Historic District into the course. The traditional winter half-marathon will also include a 10K and 5K races to include more intermediate and novice runners and families. Chip timing, custom medals, and high quality swag will also help the Frostbite appeal to more runners and improve community involvement!

Race Highlights:

• Chip timing by Stearn's Race Timing
• Custom medals and high-quality swag (moisture-wicking shirts, race souvenir cups, swag bags)
• Start/Finish area: 106 E Main St, Starkville 39759
• Packet pickup: Chick-Fil-A Starkville (Jan 24, 5:30-7:30pm) and race day (from 7:30am)
• Time limit for half marathon: 3 hours
• Strollers are allowed.

Starting Times:

• Half Marathon: 9:00 AM CST
• 10K: 9:05 AM CST
• 5K: 9:10 AM CST

Water Stations:

• Half Marathon: 5 stations (approx. mile 4, 6, 11)
• 10K: 2 stations
• 5K: No water stations along the course

Awards Ceremony: 12:00 PM CST
