The Ascent Race is a 5K + Fun Run | Walk | Roll brought to you by The Phoenix Journey. The Phoenix Journey is a Non-Profit group determined to encourage, educate and support those affected with an autoimmune disease of any kind, along with their friends and family. On Saturday March 28th, we will be raising awareness of, encouraging and celebrating those going through their ascent - fighting back against auto-immune disease by running our Ascent Race! This is a family friendly event that will have music, vendors, giveaways, post-race refreshments and a whole lot of FUN!!
All participants will receive a custom race shirt and finisher medal

The Ascent 5K- Fun Run/Walk/Roll - The Ascent Race invites participants of all abilities to enjoy a unique event in Houston, TX. For those seeking a challenge, the 5K is a competitive, timed race with awards following the race. For walkers, rollers, and fun runners, The Ascent offers a customizable experience unlike any other—you set your own finish line! Mile markers will guide your journey, and participants have up to one hour to explore the course and make the most of their personal ascent. Join us for this inclusive and exhilarating event! The time limit for the course will be 1-hour.
The Ascent Kids Dash - this is a fun .25 mile race for our youngest participants 10 and under to come participate and experience the fun of racing the Ascent!
The Ascent Volunteer & Run - Sign up to help us bring the Ascent Race to life and then run it, at our best discount to you! All you have to do is show up 1.5 hours before race start and help us with registration and set up and then after you finish help us to hand out water/medals and enjoy the post-race fun!!

WEATHER & CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the even course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants. All Next Level Race Management events proceed rain, shine, snow, or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no-refund policy. If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.
