Race Information

The Backland is on Saturday, Dec 6, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM at Walnut Creek Resort & Marina, located at 1075 Walnut Creek Rd, Gordonville, TX.

Registration closes at 11:59 PM CT on the day of the event.

Race Details

• Start Time: 8:00 AM
• Packet Pickup: 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM
• Race Entry Fee: $147.27 (including taxes and fees)

Race Format

Only 38 participants are permitted. Runners must complete a 4.5-mile loop within one hour. Each hour, the race restarts, and those who fail to finish in time or choose to withdraw will be eliminated.

Awards

All finishers receive a Backland long sleeve shirt and a drink (beer or root beer). Special trophies will be awarded to top finishers and best setups!

Travel Information

Camping options are available at Walnut Creek Resort for those traveling from out of town.

No Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued, but credits may be provided under certain conditions.
