The Big Scoop

Join us on Saturday, April 19, 2025 for The Big Scoop 5K benefitting Keystone Village. Keystone Village is a 501(c)3 Non Profit residential community that provides a vibrant, empowering, and inclusive environment for adults with disabilities. Please wear anything Ice Cream related for extra fun! Ice Cream will be served after the race. Great ice cream family fun run. Everyone is welcome to join.

Event details and schedule

• START TIME: 5K - 8:30am
• COST: 5K - $25.00 until 3/19/2025 at 11:59pm then $35.00 until race day
• COURSE: The course starts and finishes at Mashburn Elementary. It runs to Haw Creek Elementary and around LakeSide Middle School and then back to Mashburn Elementary. Closed course - safe for kids and adults alike. Mostly flat course with one swooping hill just after the start and just before the finish.
• PACKET PICKUP: Pick up bib and t-shirt on race day from 7:30am to 8:25am at Mashburn Elementary School.
• PARKING: Parking and bathrooms available at Mashburn Elementary School.
• WEATHER CANCELLATION: No Refunds - race entry becomes a donation to Keystone Village.
• AWARDS: Overall M/F Masters M/F Age Groups: M/F 3 deep 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and Up. Best Ice Cream Attire prize.
• TSHIRTS: All race participants ensured a t-shirt IF registered by April 8th. Anyone registered AFTER April 8th will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.
• Wheelchairs, strollers, walkers are welcomed and encouraged to join.
