The Cape Chigeto Provincial Park is known for its beauty as well as its challenging vertical gain and single track technical trails. Our event gives the runners the most vertical gain of any event in the Maritimes at 2200m per loop! People who experience Cape Chigeto Park will lovingly refer to it as Chiggy.

Event Courses:

• The Rockhammer - 9K: A short, hilly fun run perfect for beginners, featuring hills, technical terrain, and scenic views. Start time: Saturday, October 3rd at 7 AM.
• One Loop - 51km: Starts counter-clockwise around Cape Chigeto, offering approximately 2200 meters of vertical gain and over 51 kilometers of mostly single track technical trail. Includes 3 Aid Stations. Start time: Saturday, October 3rd at 7 AM.
• Two Loops - 102km: A challenging second loop for experienced runners, offering twice the distance and vertical gain. Start time: Saturday, October 3rd at 12 AM MIDNIGHT.
• Three Loops - 153km: Considered one of the toughest accomplishments in the Maritimes, comparable in difficulty to a 100-miler. An optional small section can be added for an official 100-miler. You will get a finishing buckle. Start time: Saturday, October 3rd at 12 AM MIDNIGHT.

Cut Offs: All Aid Stations will be closed by 12 PM on Sunday afternoon.
