The Dam Melon Run will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, as part of the Watermelon Festival. All proceeds benefit the Storehouse of Saline Food Pantry.

Race Details:

• Date: Saturday, July 12, 2025
• Time: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM CDT
• Location: Starting across the street from Magnolia Baptist Church, 1255 Cooper Street, Saline, LA 71070 US
• Registration: Sign-ups begin at 6:30 AM on race day at Saline High School. Registration ends July 9, 2025, at 11:59 PM CDT.
• Distance: 5K
• Price: $20.00

Awards: Awards will be given immediately following the race for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the following age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Special awards will also be given for the overall male/female winners, and for Master (40-49), Grand Master (50-59), Senior Master (60-69), and Legend (70+) categories.
