About the Event
The Derek Dexter Detroit Memorial 5K
A 5k in honor of our friend Derek Dexter who passed away suddenly in May of 2024. Derek loved running and promoting the sport of running. This 5k honors Derek in the best way we know how.
All proceeds go to the Derek Dexter Memorial fund which provides scholarships and running shoes for local high school athletes pursuing engineering and sharing a passion for running.
