The 10th year of the Dirty South Roubaix is coming up on March 7th, 2026. This event is known for its challenging routes, killer scenery, and community atmosphere. Registration opens on November 30, 2025, at 8:00 AM CST. The event is expected to sell out quickly.

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, March 7, 2026
• Location: Alto Pass, IL
• Start/Finish: Village park in Alto Pass, Illinois.

Courses

• 100K+: Approximately 100K. Includes various road surfaces like asphalt, chipseal, gravel, mud, and dirt. Awards for top 3 male and female overall, and top 3 in each age group (10-year blocks).
• Single Speed - 100k+: Approximately 100K.
• Tandem Team 100K+: Approximately 100K.
• Half Dirty: Approximately 50K. Features hills and gravel sections.

Registration & Pricing

• Registration Opens: November 30, 2025, at 8:00 AM CST.
• 100K+ Courses (100K+, Single Speed, Tandem Team): $85.00 - $95.00
• Half Dirty (50K): $80.00 - $90.00
• Referral Discount: $10 refund if 5 friends use your registration link.
• Transfers/Deferrals: Specific policies and fees apply, with deadlines for transfers (2/21/2026) and deferrals (2/21/2026).

Support & Amenities

• Hydration & Support: Sag stops with hydration for 100K (2 stops) and 50K (1 stop). A wrench will be available at one stop. Sweep vehicle provided.
• Food & Drink: Beer provided by St. Nicholas Brewing Company. Additional drink options available at Havisham Bourbon, Brew and Spirits House. At least 2 food trucks on site with participant credits. Hot food included with race entry.
• Packet Pickup: Available the night before at St. Nicholas Brewing Company (Carbondale airport) and on the morning of the race at the start/finish area.
• Prizes: Cool T-shirts and prizes for top finishers in each category.

Race Conditions

Courses are on open roads with potential vehicle traffic. Road surfaces vary from smooth asphalt to chunky gravel, mud, and dirt. Riders are advised to use good judgment and ride safely. Gravel or cyclocross bikes are recommended.
