The Edisto Island Triathlon Pro-Am

Event Details

The Edisto Island Triathlon Pro-Am is a half iron distance triathlon moving into its fifth year after four wildly successful events! This unique race is staged entirely on Edisto Island and Edisto Beach. It features a "with the tide" channel swim, flat, fast bike course, and a scenic run course.

• Swim: 1.2 Miles (Ocean/Channel)
• Bike: 56 Miles
• Run: 13.1 Miles

This triathlon will be a single transition event with the transition area and finish line at Bay Creek Park. The swim will start at Live Oak Boat Ramp and finish at the Marina adjacent to Bay Creek Park, with participants swimming with the current for a fast and exciting experience.

The bike course travels through the bike lanes along the main road, providing a flat route with little elevation gain, while the run course consists of a scenic out-and-back layout.
