The Fishers Peak State Park Trail Race

Join us for the inaugural Fishers Peak State Park Trail Race on September 23, 2023! This exciting event will take place at the second newest and second largest state park in Colorado, covering 19,200 acres of rugged terrain and abundant wildlife. The race will feature a 12K looping trail, starting at the Goldenrod Trail and ending on the Lower Lone Cub.

Be one of the lucky 75 participants to make history and support a great cause. The race is a fundraiser for the Friends of Fishers Peak and Trinidad Lake State Parks, with proceeds going towards a tracked wheelchair to provide access to the beautiful trails, hunting, and fishing opportunities for people with disabilities.

Early packet pickup is available on Friday, September 22, at the Fishers Peak State Park Trailhead, via Exit 11, Trinidad, Colorado 81082. You can also pick up your packet on race morning starting at 7:00 am. Please note that race day registration fees are more expensive than pre-registration fees, so register early and save some bucks.
