The Fury Run

Join us on February 28, 2026, for The Fury Run! Race one of three courses: The half marathon, EF-5K, and F1 Fun Run! Storm the Palace on the Prairie as you blow through your lightning-fast course. Each is designed to break state records. The EF-5K and F1 Fun Run end in the Sooners' stadium, and the half marathon thunders through it before turning to the finish line. Celebrating Norman’s contributions to sports and life-saving weather innovations, The Fury Run captures the energy and resilience that define life in Oklahoma.

Schedule of Events

• 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM: YFAC Buses transport participants between YFAC, Campus Corner, and the Sooner's Stadium
• 6:45 AM: YFAC Wheel Chair Half Marathon Start
• 7:00 AM: YFAC Half Marathon Start
• 7:45 AM: Campus Corner Wheel Chair EF5-K
• 8:00 AM: Campus Corner EF-5K and 1 Mile Fun Run Start
• 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM: YFAC The Fury Fest

The Fury Fest Post Race Party! Get ready to groove to the beats of Cutter Elliott, Sugar-Free Allstars, and Replay 8 Piece! Sip your way through the 'All-You-Drink Brew Fest' and savor specialty 'The Fury Beers,' crafted by Norman’s finest breweries. Join the National Weather Center for exciting balloon launches and an up-close look at their incredible storm chaser vehicles! Taking place at the YFAC, complimentary transportation will be provided to and from YFAC, Campus Corner, and the Sooner's Stadium for EF5-K and F1 Fun Run participants and spectators.
