Grab those pantry staples and get ready to run... while carrying them! The Great Grocery Run is back on December 6th!

It’s not just a race, it’s a chance to make a difference while enjoying the beautiful New Westminster Quay. You'll be running while carrying as many cans as possible. That's the twist! Bring cans to donate, and the more you carry on the run, the better your finishing time will be! Every food donation goes directly to Don’t Go Hungry, supporting local families in need.

How It Works:

• Distance: 3km run along the scenic New Westminster Quay
• Entry: $10 + at least one non-perishable food item
• The twist: Carry your donated items during the run (only undamaged items count!)
• Scoring: Your finish time is divided by the number of items you donate (Example: 20-minute finish ÷ 20 items = 1-minute adjusted time)

Last year, six runners donated over 200 items. This year, we’re aiming even higher, to help donate more food items and create more festive cheer in our local community.

Steel & Oak will be hosting their annual Holiday market on the same day. There will be craft vendors, food specials, and fun activities to enjoy after the run is finished!
