The ML5K CommUnity Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, January 17th, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM. This event honors the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and aims to bring the community together while promoting health and wellness. Proceeds benefit individuals experiencing health challenges and the MLK Bartow County Scholarship Fund.

The race features a new route utilizing Downtown Cartersville Streets and the Iconic MLK Drive.

Registration Information:

• $30 Pre-Race Registration (through January 11th)
• $40 Race Day Registration Fee

Race Day Schedule of Events:

• 7:45 AM: Race Day Registration / Packet Pick-up Opens
• 8:55 AM: Pre-Race Announcements
• 9:00 AM: 5K Start Time!
• 9:50 AM: 1K Kids Fun Run Start Time!
• 10:15 AM: Awards Presentation

Packet Pick up:

Friday, January 16th, from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM at the Big Peach Running Company of Cartersville. Located at 402 E. Church St., Cartersville, GA 30121.

Awards:

5K Awards for Top 3 Overall Male/Female, Top Master’s Male/Female, and age categories. 1K Awards for the top 3 runners.
