The PetPromise Walk for the Animals is more than just a walk — it’s a powerful community event dedicated to giving homeless cats and dogs a second chance. This impactful fundraising event brings together people of all ages who care about dogs and cats to support PetPromise’s mission: rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming. Whether you’re walking solo, forming a team, or fundraising with friends, every step you take helps save lives and raise awareness about the pet overpopulation crisis. After the walk, stick around and enjoy a full day of fun at Genoa Park — with Washington Boulevard lined with sponsor booths, artisan vendors, and over 25 local makers. Grab a bite from delicious food trucks, sip refreshing drinks, and relax by the Scioto River while enjoying live music from Rhythm & Rust. Come for the cause, stay for the celebration — and help make a lasting difference for animals in need.

Schedule of Events:

• 9:30am - Welcome! Arrive and enjoy the Vendor/Sponsors Marketplace or make signs to carry on the walk to share our message!
• 10:15am - Start lining up to walk at Washington Blvd. and Rich St.
• 10:30am - We Walk!
• 11:00am - Live Music by Rhythm & Rust, Shop Vendor/Sponsor Marketplace. Highest individual and team fundraisers announced. Announce Pet Costume Contest Winners. Enjoy Lunch from Food Truck Vendors on the bank of the Scioto River.
• 2:00pm - Event ends

Additional Information: Dogs need to be leashed (please no retractable leashes) and up-to-date with all vaccinations.
