The Pirate 5k Run/Walk
Join us for our 3rd Annual Pirate 5k Run/Walk (dress in pirate costume theme if you wish)! This event is part of the third annual Pirate Week.
Date: Saturday, August 16, 2025
Time: 7:30 AM EDT
Location: St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 315 North Cedar Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092
Events:
- 5k Timed: $30.00. Registration ends August 13, 2025, at 11:59 PM EDT.
- Student 5k: $25.00. Open to ages 5-17. Registration ends August 13, 2025, at 11:59 PM EDT.
Race Day Registration: 6:30 AM - 7:00 AM
Pancake Breakfast: Immediately following the race. Donation of $5.00
Packet Pickup: Friday, August 15th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, August 16th, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM (At the Parrish house at St. Luke’s)
Awards: Overall Male and Female; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group. Finisher medal for all participants.
Age Groups (Male and Female): 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Deadline for guaranteed shirt: August 2nd
Course: The race begins at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and utilizes the Lincolnton Rail Trail.
