Welcome to The Standard. This isn’t just a run—it’s a test of grit, routine, and resolve. From July 6th through July 12th, you’re tasked with one simple, but brutal, goal: 10 miles a day for 7 straight days. Break it up. Run it all at once. Road, trail, treadmill—it doesn’t matter how. What matters is that it gets done.
This is the kind of effort that doesn’t come with fanfare. It comes with sweat. With stubbornness. With showing up even when the heat index says don’t. July doesn’t care how you feel. But The Standard isn’t about feelings….it’s about finishing.
Origins
Created by two friends (Garrett Bracht & Nate Woodcock) enlisted in the US Army who ran the same 10 mile route... every single day.... forever and nicknamed it "The Standard". After both serving their time in the US Army the Standard lives on forever!
Results
All activities will be verified on Strava so you must have a Strava account to join (free). Then follow Revolution Running Company on Strava (free). Join the event and once you've completed your activity tag Revolution Running. All free and all for fun! All who complete it we'll mail you a sticker!
