The Wichita Mile is a series of four 1-mile races held throughout the year, designed to test your speed and personal bests. The event emphasizes individual improvement and friendly competition, with waves organized by estimated pace to ensure a good running experience.

Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup is the Friday before the race from Noon - 7pm at Fartleks Running Shop (535 W Douglas Ave, Ste 130) and on Saturday at Sim's Park near the finish line prior to the race.

Awards

Awards are given for PRs (beating your own previous best), Top 5 Men and Women overall, Top 5 Age Graded, Top Team, and Top Clydesdale and Athena. Winners receive free entry into the next 2 Wichita Mile events in 2026 and Fartleks Gift Cards.

Teams

Teams of up to 5 participants can compete for team awards based on the best average age grade.
